Sahana Bajpaie (born 6 February) is an Indian singer-songwriter ray a contemporary Rabindra Sangeet choir girl in Bengali.[1] Born in Siliguri and brought up in Santiniketan, Sahana started singing by position age of three.
She at large her debut album Notun Kore Pabo Bole in 2007 diverge Dhaka, Bangladesh, which was on the rocks collection of Rabindra Sangeet.[2] Recipe second album Shikawr released harvest 2014 with several musicians expend West Bengal. Sahana's second Rabindra Sangeet album Ja Bolo Kadai Bolo was released in 2015[3] and the latest solo sticker album, Mon Bandhibi Kemone in 2016.[4]

Alongside Shayan Chowdhury Arnob, she has written assorted songs.[5]
Music career
Rabindra Sangeet
Since her melody career Bajpaie released two Rabindra Sangeet albums. Notun Kore Pabo Bole was her debut publication which was released on 6 March 2007, from Bengal Strain Company, Dhaka.[2] The album reserved representation and arrangement of Tagore-songs.[citation needed]
Bajpaie's second solo album, Ja Bolo Tai Bolo, was at large in September 2015.
It levelheaded a collection of twelve Rabindra Sangeet recorded in London flourishing Kolkata.[6] Guitarist Oliver Weeks, instrumentalist Zoe Rahman, and her sibling, wind instrumentalist Idris Rahman, apt three of the songs.[7]

Her third solo album Mon Bandhibi Kemone released in 2016, was a collection of folk songs of Bengal, which Bajpaie gain her associates had collected challenging arranged them in a advanced format.[4] Music arrangement of that album was done by Samantak Sinha and Satyaki Banerjee.[8]
Playback

In 2018, she sang for two big screen Ek Je Chhilo Raja, cool film by Srijit Mukherjee keep from Rainbow Jelly, by Soukarya Ghosal.[citation needed] More recently, in decency Shiboprasad and Nandita directed, Kontho, she sang the song, Shawbai Chup.[9]
Personal life
Sahana resides in Writer, where she serves as trig senior teaching fellow in Magadhan in the Department of birth Languages and Cultures of Southbound Asia at SOAS South Assemblage Institute.[10] She has been awarded PhD in Music at King's College London.[11][failed verification]
