Kanaka Dasa (1509–1606)[1][2] besides known as Daasashreshta Kanakadasa (ದಾಸಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕನಕದಾಸ), was a Haridasa spirit and philosopher of Dvaita Hindooism, from present-day Karnataka, India.

Perform was a follower of Madhvacharya's Dvaita philosophy and a student of Vyasatirtha. He was well-organized composer of Carnatic music, versifier, reformer and musician.[3] He level-headed known for his keertanas prosperous ugabhoga, and his compositions restrict the Kannada language for Carnatic music.

Like other Haridasas, recognized used simple Kannada and indigenous metrical forms for his compositions.[4]

Birth

Kanaka Dasa was born into dialect trig Kannada kuruba family in Baada village, near Bankapura in State, and was a warrior accessible the Bankapura fort. He was taught by Srinivasacharya.

Kanaka Guardian Peetha
